Earlier on this evening a short while ago I went to get a take away in the g/f's new Fiesta and on the way back home some p*rick throws a can at it that h was not empty and it has caused damage/taken off paint from the front bumper. I don't understand what these a$$holes get out doing things like these - I had no chance of catching up with them as they were going in the opposite direction and did not bother.

I'm a liitle bit pi$$ed off and just needed to let of a bit of steam...

dont blame you mate...I would be steaming
I have a bit of an extreme view on these idiots but I do not want to offend so I will just say that they should be stopped from breeding

Good job it was only a can and it hit the bumper. A few years a go there was a craze in Staffordshire for throwing bricks through windscreens of approaching vehicles.

Still, sorry to hear of the damage.:(

Your absolutely right Diselman as it could have been a lot more worse.

Oh bu88er! I've just spent the evening sharpening some! ;)

Seriously though, they don't think about anything when they do this. It really is, literally, mindless.

We quite often used to get kebabs left on the roof of whichever car was parked outside the house in a Friday night. And that does damage the paintwork

This can thing is stupid, and it's dangerous, and I'm sorry, but I believe we are already defeated as far as the decent person / fu€kwit ratio is concerned.

Could not agree more...
I have found myself (a very calm person) thinking very nasty thoughts about this. I can see how this combined with other political issues we have in this countryc are swaying people to move to far off shores

Now, wouldn't it have been a shame if the shock of the can hitting the car had caused you to mount the pavement and run the little shit down... :p

The local finest round here used to try jumping out in front of people and then running away after you'd hit the brakes or swerved...until one day someone didn't.

By all accounts, their answer was "Sorry, you were expecting me to stop??"

I once had the perfect opportunity to do this in a busy shopping area. The three in question sauntered accross when all the other pedestrians had given way and they were very unhappy as their "coolness" just melted away when they had to jump clear.
A friend actually rolled one of these "uber coolies" over the bonnet and off the car once. I'm actually having a chuckle even now.:)

We need some of the old ways brought back - 1/2 a day in the stocks in the centre of town pelted with rotten fruit and losing ALL their coolness in front of their mates - now that might work!

:) - Great story...

PS. Would have loved to got my own back

Yes i did this too when i lived in Wembley .....

3 arrogant kids crossing the road , just sauntering along, almost daring the traffic to 'have a go' , I managed to clip the last ones heel as i passed , span them round and they fell over .....

Hugely funny ...... :D

Go on, someone tell me now how i am irresponsible etc etc ......

funnily enough, I had a bizarre dream last night, that a couple of kids were throwing rocks trying to hit my parked car from behind a high fence, (in typical fashion of a dream, this fence was a very long (and high) one and there was no way I could get around it to chase them off without them scoring a hit on my car).

I shouted stop it! at the top of my lungs, at which point 2 more kids joined in as my fustration fueled their satisfaction. They had (miraclously) not hit my car yet, but the situation was getting desperate so I picked up some of their rocks and returned fire in the hope that they would scarper off behind the fence, but they whistled for reinforcements and then there were about 8, with me trying to fend my car from this continual stream of rock missles.

btw some dorks did hit my Audi with a stone - left a dent

I use to live in a small town in Wiltshire were the local kids would hang around outside the super market, they were always in the same place. Till one day they threw something at the car, I got home and phoned the local police station, not 999, they said they would send a car round to speak to them. I never saw them hanging around there again.

I had a similar experience outside some shops just along from the primary school near my mother's home .

An empty Coke can hit the window of my car fortunately doing no damage , I screeched to a halt and confronted the kids by the roadside , demanding to know who threw it : the culprit was pointed out to me and I got his name . Straight up to the school , which was going in , and demanded to see the head teacher . The boy was summoned to her office , mother sent for , and a few days later I received a letter saying that he had been sent home and excluded for a week - maybe that would just encourage him to do it again ?
