Hi I have a c200d 2017 ! I filled up with 10 L of ad blue 3 weeeks ago and recently it says cannot measure ad blue level and e/m light has came on!I ran a diagnostics and I’m getting these fault codes P22A677.( the heater of the nox sensor 2 (cylinder bank 1 )
has an electrical fault) And P13DF09. (The adblue system has a malfunction there is a component fault ) and P2BA901! The car drives absolutely fine is this something I could fix any help would be much appreciated or could someone fill Me in what is the problem here !

I’m guessing that means I need a new sensor 😑 ! And do both sensors need changing when one has malfunctioned is anyone aware

It's best to.

Have you got the 500 mile countdown yet ?

I haven't got no countdown yet ! It just says cannot measure ad blue level ! I’ve herd of Mercedes doing nox sensors f.o.c but not sure if that is true !

You can ask but don't hold your breath . If it were my car I'd have the ad blue written from the ECU and be done with it completely.

Yes the funny thing is I was going to sell the
Motor in 2 weeks time and then this has happened I did try get rid of ad blue cannot measure levels sign and e/m light but came back on 1 hour later

Knocks ya back a grand or take the hit with the sale .

Remap it, the car will run better and not cost you £1000's to fix.

After to speaking to Mercedes they are doing recalls for nox sensors but only on 2020 models onwards ! So loooks like I will be replacing a nox sensor any recommendations for good Mercedes specialist around cambridge

If you're willing to travel you've got Merc Pro in Wymondham. Just be aware MB OE NOX sensors are currently on back order and there are mixed results with aftermarket sensors.

So much so they offer reconditioned ones at around 50% discount.

The sensors can be so hard for indies to source, that my local Indy will send customers to Mercedes instead. Mercedes seem to get priority on sensors, that's one of the reasons I went down the remap route. The other was that when nox sensor & Adblue issues arrise, you pay £hundreds to fix, and within months the next fault arises which is the same issue and it costs more each time. Horrible system that should be scrapped completely.

Yeah I’m looking at the remap I’m selling it in 2 weeks so it’s just a nightmare at the moment

AdBlue faults are all too often the start of a long and expensive journey.

If you do manage to get a new sensor and have it fitted, and if this extinguishes the EML, then park the car and don't drive it any further until trade-in day, then take it straight to the Px.

You need both NoX sensors AND a software update, or your light will be back on again in 300 miles and you will be chasing your tail.

We can disable the system, but you should disclose this to any future buyers!
