Can't find a way to reach this panel...

Hi peeps,

This is my first post and I hope that someone, somewhere can help me with this problem.

My car is a 2000 CLK55 AMG and my problem is reaching the area between the rear window and the 3rd brake light which desperately needs hoovering to remove what looks like a few years worth of general car interior debris.

I've tried to reach this area via the inside of the boot lid, but without success.

Does anyone know of a trick or tip for removing the panel rearward of the 3rd brake light from underneath the boot lid so a my hoover can do it's thing? Any help would be much appreciated.

Dont know how you get there but may be a radiator brush migh help.

If you want to remove the rear panel/parcel shelf wich houses the third brake light its a big job, if you need instructions on how to I will gladly tell you ?

Would a flexible tube on the end of your hoover be of help?

Or do as I have and used silicon sealant to stick a 12mm flexible tube into one of the hoover tools (I used "reinforced" clear plastic tube available from most good ironmongers in various sizes)

Ideal for reaching to hard to get to places.
