Wicksteed Park carboot this morning (Kettering).

I just couldn't resist it... a bloke selling Simoniz Original Wax with natural carnauba (whatever the hell that is?) Unopened with a tab claiming to be Auto express product awards winner 2010. Costs around £8 in the shops; I got it for £2... nice one.
Happy polishing,
Chris.

Hi Carnauba wax is what they use in Greased Lightning Showroom Shine and it superb,my SL has never looked better.

Chris
I have just done the wife's Altea with a machine polish of Autoglym resin polish and then toppedi t off with some colinite 845 really easy to work with once on it feels like you have put 10 layers of wax on the car in one hit!!! its supposed to last around the 6 month mark as well so little maintanance too. Beads like crazy too in the rain

That Simoniz original is actually pretty easy to apply and does last well.

If its the Simoniz Original Wax in a yellow tin, is the old original wax from years ago and is a nightmare compared to modern products.
