Car Crabbing / judder when in full lock

If your tyres are down to legal limit (1.6mm) at the front and 3.5mm at the rear in 4,000 miles.... I don't thing crabbing is the issue. No idea though why its 'eating' tyres at this rate, this type of wear is more likely to be found on a track car.

Yes the glc 63 are 4 matic .. the wife uses it for round town and school runs

But lots of 90 deg full lock turns where the crabbing is really bad

Hi
I have a new glc63 and the crabbing has scrubbed the fronts in 4000 miles and the tyres are bald

MB and my main dealership say it's a characteristic of the car and I must replace at my cost

How did you get an AMG specialist involved and did they argue or just replace

I cant dive my 5 month old car now dur to bald front tyres
Is it bald across the width of the tyre or just on the edge?

Well no solution as to why your tyres are wearing out quickly, suggest you get some Nexen Suv4 tyres they are not expensive and are hard wearing.

This was at 3000 miles from new , now @ 4000 and fronts toast rears about 3.2mm

I would experiment with slightly higher tyre pressures, but that doesn’t look like the wear profile of a car with suspension, steering or geometry issues, so I can see why the dealer concluded that it’s wear and tear.

I was expecting to see more pronounced wear on the edges.

Why is it wearing the fronts faster than the rears on a predominantly rear wheel drive car
