Are car mats supplied as standard on a new mercedes?

Just noticed I posted this in the wrong section. Mods, please move this

My new Mercedes which is leased came with mats. They're tailored, with the poppers in the usual place for the driver's mat, though they're not genuine Mercedes, as the driver's mat has "Lex Autolease" on it.

My brand new e class got delivered today. No mats and on Hankook tyres! Shocking!

I can assure Hankook tires are excellent :) Our company mounts over 4000 wheels a day. Hankook is on of the major suppliers now. They came on board about 2 years ago. We are now seeing more and more Eastern tire suppliers coming on board. What most people do not realize is that a lot of these unknown tire manufacturers are actually run by the likes of Michelin, Goodyear, Continental etc. They use the same techniques, they have to pass the same criteria as any European Manufacturing ie testing etc. They cost far less as the manufacturing costs are lot less compared to the western world.

I have used no name brands for a few years now and have never had any issues with handling etc on my cars.

interesting one, my new Range came with mats but there were four other options for Lux mat, with piping, with logo embossed etc! its such a scam.

matts should be standard.

I would hazard a guess that you get some mats but probably need to 'upgrade' for shag pile, fluffy, embossed n logo'd etc

PS - I hope shag pile is not a real option anymore
