Carbon spoiler

My carbon spoiler for my e55 arrived today just woundering if anyone knows the best way to fit it on? Couple of people have said double sideded tape and another said tiger seal?? Just looking for the best option don't want it coming off!

I drilled two small holes on the underside and used stainless bolts painted with black Hammerite to attach to the existing bodywork. Do not rely on double sided tape alone.

If the diffuser is not the perfect fit, carefully use a small line of clear (car colour dependant) silicon sealant to finish any gaps.

This is mine after final fitting.

The Taiwanese/Chinese ones are a lottery as you can't ensure a perfect fit, but from the one I did see it was good enough. Have a look on eBay worldwide to include Germany.

Have a look on MBWorld. org forum and see if Gary at Suvneer will post one to the UK.

Avoid CKS in Watford. They just order in from Eurotek in the US and add on a premium for themselves.
I bought mine though the forum from someone with an E63. It fitted almost perfectly.

You bought Tony's car didn't you?

I went up with him when I had my exhaust done. We reached some interesting speeds on the M42

This diffuser looks exactly the same as mine. Bear in mind there are customs charges for gear bought in from overseas.

That's the one I'm looking to do a few bits to make it my own.... It drives spot on just want to make it look and sound a bit different and maybe a bit more power
What sort of power is yours?

Mine is stock at the moment although the dyno figures show better than standard torque figures. 479BHP and 571ft lbs torque. Just holding off getting the smaller s/c pulley and EC remap.

If you haven't seen this video, it was taken at MSL dyno day Aug 2014 when I had my exhaust done. My car is on the dyno 7.00 mins in and your car is on at 7min 47 secs.
