Carpet replacement

My grey carpet in my '94 w202 is showing its age so I was thinking how easy it would be to replace the carpet with say a black one from the stealers, this would also match my leather interior (also black).

I was wondering if the carpet from a '99 w202 would fit or are the body shapes slightly different?

Frankly I'd be amazed if the carpets from the '99 car don't fit.

Easy enough to fit/replace. The hardest part is removing the front seats.

After the seats are removed, it should only take 15-20mins or so.

Expect cut knuckles and many swearwords!

As far as I know, all/any carpets of any age will fit.

Does the dashboard need to be removed in order for the carpet to come out?

Nope, only the seats.

Take you time though as you can bend the plastic making it white.

Sorry The centre console needs to come out though as the carpet goes under it.
Simple job though - 10mins!

From memory:

-2x footwell carpets
-1x rear footwell/centre console area.

The front footwell carpets weight a ton down to the soundproofing, the rear carpet will no doubt require a crane!
