Carplay/Comand Reset

Hi, driving for 2 hours last night and noticed Waze had frozen in Carplay.
Tried everything I thought possible with the entertainment system, and my phone,
(my phone was working fine).
I ended up with a black screen in the car!
It finally came back to life 10 minutes later. I don't know how.
I've searched all over but still unsure how to do a 'Soft Reset'.
Most say hold down the Eject CD button, but I don't have one!
It's a C class Premium 2019 w205.
Could anyone point me in the right please?

Frankley, with all of the knowledge on here, I'm astonished no one can answer my question about soft resets!
 
I don't know the answer... but I would get the dealer or COMAND UK to carry out a firmware upgrade just in case.
 
If it's working now, I'd get a spare cable as often dodgy cables cause all kinds of issues. Get a firmware update done too.
