PS. And the best bit was !!!!! - They told me not to use Millers Diesel Plus additive as MB claims is damages the coating of the injectors and the fuel pump - and it might be the cause for my cat going south .... Hmmmm

I've heard this before from Superchips, with regard to Volvo diesels. Apparently they sent out a service bulletion to their dealers to this effect. I rang Millers up (this was about a year ago) and they were a bit cagey on it, but said they were coming out with a new formulation specifically for Common Rail diesels.

Personally I wasn't convinced and so no longer use it in my Merc., although I had no problems using it on PSA common rail diesels. I think it is still OK on older conventionally injected diesels.
