Central locking and boot release has stopped working with the key fob. However, the door locks work OK from the switch on the dashboard.
Batteries in both fobs are OK. Almost new 12V main battery.
Fuses 21 and 22 (30Amp) are OK.
Garage replaced number plate bulbs yesterday - [see 'woodysl' post of 1.6.24.] Is this connected in some way? Seems strange !
Any help appreciated.

This morning, the central locking has mysteriously repaired itself. Click open, click closed, click open . . . The wonders of MB !

Welcome to the party pal  .
Give all the locks and hinges a spray lube and jiggle with the metal key whilst it’s in your mind .

The fobs used to work from many metres away, but now they only works when held close to the door handle. Ditto for the boot release. Any ideas?
Where is the sensor for the IR located?
