changing an a class autobox

I have a a class t reg diesel 170 with auto.

How do you change the box / is it a hard job?

Forgot to say i can pickup a s/h box for £500 and on the face of it seems a possible solution.

Subframe has to be dropped. Not mega difficult with a ramp/lift.

They are bloody heavy though.
