Hi Guys.

My Aunt (dads sister) Lata is walking the 10km Race for Life 2010 at Weston Park on 18th July 2010 along with my Fiancee and 18 of our employees from our Budgens Stores across the West Midlands to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

She is totally useless on the computer, thus i have just set up her charity page, and I hope you guys will consider sponsoring her online whilst she continues collecting locally at our stores.

To date we have collected over £10,000 and we would really like to hit our £2000 target on my new online campaign.

Some 20 years ago, Lata had a near death car crash, where she broke her neck, and went through many years of rehabilitation, and since those days, has fought with constant pains and the risk of paralysis, but is now attempting her most challenging feat.

Please take a moment to sponsor her by clicking on this following link:

All donations are secure and sent to Cancer Research UK.
If you are UK taxpayer please tick the Gift Aid box. This allows Cancer Research UK to claim at least an extra 25% on your donation from the government.

Many thanks for your support. I know they will appreciate it as will I and the charity.

I'll sort it as soon as I get a spare moment before we leave! :) My Mum died of cancer, so this is a charity close to my heart Dillon.

Sorry to hear Barry.

My Great Grand father died of Cancer in 1993 and my grandmother has had breast cancer twice, and still fights through to this day, and i'm very close to my Grand mother, as she lives with me!

Your Grandmother is a fighter! :) My Mum had lung cancer in 2006 and it took her within 3 months.. :(

that is v.fast.. hopefully the suffering was not prolonged on this, My Great Grand Father had the same, over 2 years. i was young, still remember his total episode from strength to almost nothing, weak and needed full 24 hr care in house. He died on a Sunday, and seeing his illness develop, i just wish it was short, not long!

Mercifully, my Mum didn't suffer long and her last week was in a hospice owned by a family friend so the care was great. She actually was diagnosed while we were still in Russia so it was a miserable home-coming!

C'mon guys and girls.. i know we all drive Mercedes, but that doesn't mean we are as uncaring as BMW drivers... We are Mercedes Benz Drivers for the
pure and simple reason, we care for those around us, protection, well being
and just knowing our cars are not Killers..
