What happened to your car?
The engine oil pipe at the rad was leaking, I patched it with some rubber hose, the hose after 3000 miles perished and the oil run out. The light went on and I top it up, not thinking it was another failure. All good , Then in traffic the light went on again, The engine seized twice before I could pull it to a safe place... No oil left in it...
Engine dead.
Couldn't even unscrew the radiator pipe to change it, even with a jack under the spanner. The car was lifted, the bolt not bulging, its stuck into the rad...This is more then a ton pressure... The bold is seized in there too... Anyway, its not a matter now as the engine is dead...

That's a bugger, are you breaking it or stuffing another engine into it?
OM606 engines are cheap because they never go wrong...unless they run out of oil.

Not sure yet.
I am in 2 minds on how to do it.
Sell the car at the scrap for 320 ish and sell the alloy and winter tires for 250
Or breaking it, get the expensive bits out (leaving the rust on it ...), turbo, IP, lights, steel wheels, of course the alloy and call the scrap ad get 130 ( I think) for the body.
All depend, if I get another Rusty class, also called Eclass ( but I am doubting this now, seriously...) or something not rusty, hence not MB...
