They are dropping in price, as do most cars.

I have to admit I'd consider one (rust still a big concern though) in the future as the prices head south.

Perhaps an estate (had to stop myself writing Avant).

I have had couple of W203 estate cars as courtesy cars. They feel just like the slaoons to drive BUT do not look as "cool" as the saloons from the side/rear. People were taking the p*$$ out of me and calling me "grandad"...

To be honest rust is not much of an issue on the W203s as it is on the W202/W210/W208/W220/W215s.

The W215 I have bought had its usual rust waraty work carried out by MB six months ago by the former owner.

I quite like quick estates, although the wife preferred the saloon. To be fair the saloon perhaps looks a little more sporty, but I prefer the lower-key approach of a fast estate.

However, the estate I know full well is a "stealth" and certainly would shock people when up against it. The W203 AMG saloon in general is a stealth anyway as it pretty much looks like a ordinary W203 to most people apart from us enthusiasts.

Its an 6 yr old estate with 100K miles and without satnav - thats overpriced!!

Its prob worth abt 11k if that.
