This is odd... I just looked up one of my previous cars (as one does) and the mileage seems to have gone down... I thought the online MOT would not permit entering a lower mileage figure than the last reading, but apparently this is possible. All it does is display the inconsistent mileage...
I had a seat exeo on lease that went back after 3 years, mileage was only 50k and was pretty much not a mark on it apart from a scuff on one wheel yet it's not showing as ever being mot'd after that. Makes you wonder what seat have done with it.
My wife's old 2008 Prius (it made sense at the time) finished its lease at 3 years old and 88k miles. It had not been mot'd when we handed back but the first Mot shows as 50k miles....
Still it is showing at 173k at its mot last year so is doing ok.
