Chris harris video: Fast volvos/c63 amg

Thanks for posting this. £200,000  a tad out of my price range!
Miss my V70 T5 :(

No where near the performance of these, but still fun to drive ;)

Stunning though the Volvo is,

But at the end of the day it's still a Volvo,,,, and doesn't have that engine,,,,,, for £200,000 I'd also expect 2.5 bathroom and ensuite double garage and a decent south facing Garden :)

£200k is the cost of the one off build including all development work as the car is one of a kind. If it ever went into production it would come in well below the cost of a C63 so pounds for power it would represent good value

Is Chris now dead having driven those cars on Summer tyres on snow?

Does make the C63 look a bit slow...

Both our Volvos have had the Polestar treatment :D those boys really know how to map and set up cars. Can't quite match the 0-60 time of their S60 though :D

Is this the one with a £200k price tag and 508 BHP?, hardly challenging AMG,M and RS cars much is it?, do you want to pay over double the money for something, slower, uglier and in a sector we have hardly any experience of building in apart from our quick by the mid 1990s standards estate T5?, still there's one born every minute I'm sure someone will buy one.

I do think Volvo build some very good and safe cars, I do see the appeal of them even though they don't appeal to me personally, I just think they're not going to get a look in in this sector, especially with that price tag.

It's got that cost as its a one off. It carries some uniquely high end dampers, engine modifications.

They could, by doing many more, probably make it a little less powerful, 420bhp say, and for around £45k.

IMHO its a better looking car than a C class, and I have a C class. As it stands, its faster and probably handles just as well. Good motor IMHO

See post #6 if it ever went into production they reckon it would come in at around £54k

Ah missed that!!, if they can sell them for £54k then I think more people would be willing to take a gamble on one, not in that blue though.

Even though I love Volvo and have two polestar variants I think I would have to think twice before spending £54k on one

I want a go around Brunters in the snow :o.
