Car
(W216) 2008 CL 500, Tanzanite blue with tan leather. (W230) 2005 SL350, Black with sand leather
I left the CL (W215, 55AMG) for 18 days in Aberdeen, came back and it was dropped on its front 2 wheels, red warning message on the dash.
Jumped in, started the car, pressed the raise button, raised it which cleared the message, lowered it to normal, drove home.
I took in into MB Hamilton.
MB Hamilton contacted big MB, who have said via their "Diagnosis Assistance System" (I have the printout) that this is "normal lowering due to internal residual leakage" and "after engine starts vehicle raises back to normal level"
Is this normal/ok?
Comments please gentlemen?
Colin.

Has it got Airmatic ?

W215 has ABC, I think W216 (CL 2006 on) was Airmatic?
C.

ABC.

Yeah, its fairly normal. best get it checked for leaks though.

yes its a normal thing for the abc system, if it starts to get worse then you may have a problem with the valve block as that is one of the common things
