Hi guys, so seeing as the weather has got really cold lately I'm having some issues.

Both the front & rear windows are fogging up and when it's really cold a sheet of ice forms on the INSIDE of the windows. I'll wake up in the morning and they're fogged up.. I'll go out at 9pm, they're fogged up.. no other cars around mine are fogged up. However, if it rains, usually it's fine.

My last couple of cars never did this, and cars belonging to family and friends also don't do this, so I'm assuming I've got a leak of some sort, unless you guys have any other ideas? If it's a leak, where are the most common places to check?

Starting to get really annoying now, as even with the windshield demister switched on.. it still takes forever (as it's ice it's trying to clear as well). I've got 2 of those Pingi dehumidifier bags in the car.. but they make no difference.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Ricky.

Update: Got into the car yesterday morning, and only one part was fogged up (corner of passenger window, shown in image). Could I assume that this is therefore the likely area of a leak?

I'll post a further update in the hope that someone will actually respond.. car is still doing this, only one in the car park that was covered with inside condensation today.. also on my journey home I got a 'turn signal left mirror' error.. however I was having this issue a few months back and replaced the light unit in the mirror, so maybe water is getting into the car from here somehow?

Thanks

Woah... why didn’t anyone help this guy out

I don't think anyone knows what the fix for this issue is....

His car clearly suffers from some sort of water ingress, which would explain the humidity and internal condensation.

But where it's coming from, is anyone's guess...

I can only think that if it was coolant leaking from the heater, he would have smelled it, and also he would notice the coolant loss.

Other than that I can only think of water splashed into the cabin either via a leaking grommet in the bulkhead or a lower door seal etc.

If the car is known to have been involved in a crash and repaired then this is one area I woukd look at.

Also... the CL203 is a hatchback... so the hatch door seal would be another possible suspect.

The water would probably accumulate under the boot liner where the spare wheel is
