CLA Sat Nav

I've just ordered a Mercedes CLA and was wondering wether I can purchase the Sat Nav separate from the likes of eBay. I've read on another forum that you can just buy a SD card and pop it in. Can anyone provide me with any information please?

Assuming car is new, it will have NTG5. UK cars have the pre-wire in, so yes you just buy the SD map card and pop it in (more or less, I'm pretty sure gets tied to the VIN so there is probably a little licensing fun to go through first and you can't buy used).
