Hi Everyone,
I apologise if this topic has already been discussed, but I’m seeking some advice regarding a fault code on my 2018 Mercedes CLA220d (C117, W117). I’m curious if there’s a quicker solution than replacing the entire rear exhaust section, which includes the internal flap and actuator. Mercedes only offers the complete rear exhaust for £550 not including diagnostic charges and there own labour.
if I manage to find a second-hand full exhuast or new actuator if the exhaust flap is free and not stuck, will the acuator require calibration or programming with Xentry/Mercedes software, or can I simply replace it myself?
Fualt Code: P13C271
Description
The exhaust flap has a malfunction. The actuator is blocked.
Please do see the attached diagnostic.
Thanks
