I think that you have your answer!

Get it replaced and get the other tyres checked for abnormal wear and then have the suspension checked and aligned

Its defo not the metal rubbing the road its too loud i only had my brakes and pads changed all round a few weeks ago first of all i could hear a little clicking noise only wen i was reversing to park with the brakes applied then today i was going to the shop and it started making the loud clicking noise in forward motion every time im braking just so i got out nd had a look around under neath the front end of the car and i couldnt beleive my eyes when i saw the tyres yes the passenger side is starting to go but stil legal i would say but the drivers side is proper bad i havnt had the car long tbh the last owners just ran it into the ground so ive been doing the things it needs bit by bit all the brake pads nd disc were just done a full service then im going to put 4 new springs on her i even had to pay a guy £90 to take off the 2 back locking lug nuts because they were badly damaged and stuck in far to tite so im really just trying to put the wee motor all good nd keep hitting another prob..

If it's only making a noise when braking it can be pads loose in the caliper or a worn suspension part . Could be anything on a car of neglect like you mentioned. ?

The tread on the inner side of the drivers side wheel..
OK - I wondered if some errant part hadn't gouged the sidewall - evidently not.
Tread wear as you describes suggests suspension/steering misalignment or, worn bushes. Too much toe out or (-ve) camber will knock out the inner section of tread.

The tyre will delaminate. That is your prioritiy at the moment.
Possibly the source of the clicking sound.

and i noticed my drivers side tyre worn rite down to the metal on the inside of the wheel
That tyre is dangerous. Get it replaced ASAP.

So you need tyres anyways. Get the tyres and then see if the noise is gone. Also do not drive the car in the meantime. Very dangerous and a slam dunk 3 points on your license for each bald tyre.
