clk 230k stalling

hi all iam stuck

i have got a clk 1999 230k convertible
when i got it it had a miss trying to drive fast and so on after a 30 mile drive at the lights the hole car was shaking really bad

fist thing i did was change plugs .took for dive thought i had fixed till come to 3rd roundabout started missing splutter same problem seams to be when got hot

took home disconnected maf took for drive now stalled at lights but car was not missing

bought one from ebay put on same thing as if maf was disconnected missing all gone but car stalls when warm and if left on tic over
put original one in just the same
bought maf from scrap yard same thing on all 3 maf

car runs on all but will now stall

i checked codes and says air intake which i believe is part of maf i disconnected cable read codes and says air in take

got volt meter and checked cable all ok

now im really stuck

car will drive does not feel as fast might just be me but always stalls now was ok when had the miss ?

MAF is the number 1 issue. After that it maybe the Crank position sensor (CPS) Check for any split pipes.
I'm currently breaking my 230 w208 so if you need anything give me a shout.

Stop bolting parts on and get it on a Star diag machine. It WILL save you ££ in the long run
