CLK Vert - Window Rattle

I have a very very irritating - if not at all serious - problem with my drivers side window on my CLK Vert (2001) . It rattles everso slightly when its all the way up. If I lean on the window and put some pressure on it "outwards" the rattle stops - but to be honest, its driving me mad!!! It's not very loud at all, but its continuous and always in my right ear.....does anyone have any suggestions??? The problem goes away if I lower the window but it seems to be coming from wher the window meets the frame - I tried a little silcone grease ont he plastic between rear and front window, but this didn;t help and just made the window horrible dirty and greasy!!!

Mine does it occasionally as well - can't predict when. I've tried polish on the rubber window seal to no avail . I've now resorted to turning the stereo up if it gets too annoying

My 202 C Class has recently developed a similar problem in the same area.
Currently I too am unable to cure it.
