Clk320 kilometers to miles

Hi my 1999 clk320 cab seems to have changed from miles to kilometres on the digital milage ??? Any ideas how to change it back ???

Do you mean the digital speedometer display, or the mileometer reading?

AFAIK If it's the digital speedometer, you can't change it as both MPH and KPH are required by UK law of being capable of being displayed.

That said, I understand that there are a couple of independent dealers who can change it to MPH via Mercedes STAR diagnostic and programming machine, using UK delete.

If it's the mileometer and it's the same as later models it can be changed by accessing the OBC using the steering wheel buttons. (Assuming the MY 1999 has them).

Have you used the MB Club search option, as there's probably several threads on the subject.

The milage as virtually doubled and I was wondering if it had changed to kilometres ?
Need to search the site to understand the areas

its just in the settings that you access from the steering wheel menu's... happens a lot!

Here's a link to the USA online manual. Their options only go back to MY2000 and although there may be slight differences with the USA spec, the basics should be the same.
Page 86 is the one to start at.
