It's shocking that these cars are going for such little money
Regardless of whether people agree or not, I would not take anything less than 35k if I ever sold mine.
I'm probably not the best person to ask about yearly running costs as I am not your average user in regards to mileage etc.
But I can't see the running costs being at all as scary as people might initially think.
Granted, items like discs/ pads, tyres etc are going to be more expensive but that again depends on driving style and mileage. Drive train is reliable and the car is well built.
I had an electrical gremlin manifest itself about a year ago but that was dealt with by the warranty.
Insurance, tax and servicing are presumably the factors to consider.
Mine gets and oil change approx every 1500 miles. Also
changed plugs and transmission fluid twice - way ahead of recommended periods.
I keep a separate log of work I have done as the service book can't keep up. Lol
