Which 350 do you have (265hp or earlier).
I have the D6S fitted to my E-class but I think it is the same engine as yours, and MB actually seem to fit this to some 'special editions' of the CLS - also to the new shooting brake.
TBH, I have been 'underwhelmed' at the difference this made to the overall performance of the car - particularly the 0 - 80 sprint. This box only delivers the additional power when in 'sport' or 'manual' mode. In sport mode the 3>4 and 4>5 upshift happens at 4k rpm which is a long way past the maximum torque revs of the engine. I wrote to Brabus asking if they had considered changing (or could advise on changing) the gearbox shift points. Thus far, their response has been to change the D6S for an upgraded software version which will be fitted tomorrow. They seem confident this will sort it, but as of now, with the original software and the high cost, I would not recommend it. The only upside is it does not invalidate the warranty on a new car. I'll post back next week after I have tried the new software version.
