Well I've finally managed to buy myself a CLS 55. I was debating whether to go for either an E55 or the CLS but was seduced by the lines of the latter and a good low miler came up in the right colour and options so bit the bullet and made the purchase. One thing that totally astounded me from the first time I took it for a drive was the torque. It's seriously addictive...had me grinning from ear to ear after the initial test drive. I haven't really had a chance to drive it properly since the purchase due to the crappy weather we've had so I'm looking forward to a bit of dry weather. So far I've ordered a set of plugs (NGK-LFR7AIX) as there about due now....cars got 46k on the clock. And i'll be ordering discs and pads up front as I'm getting a very slight juddering braking from high speed. I'm sure over the next few months once I get used to the power i'll be looking at some performance mods!! but so far I'm very happy with my choice I made.
