I may not be its greatest fan, but for those who are (and there are lots of you. 3,000 customers have already placed orders even before the car has hit the dealers showrooms).

Here is the advertising link

This film is a complete 'waste of space' but you do get to see the CLS in the flesh.

Is it my imagination or does the car have a defective fog light when it enters the car park near the end of the film?

Good luck,
John

This is the corner lighting facility in action, it turns on the appropriate fog light.

Wow!! That's interesting, I wonder if it is actually legal in this country??

I thought it strange and that is why I asked the question. I know that the 'parking light' option that some cars have does not meet the lighting requirements. (the one where you can take the ignition key out and leave just one side of the cars sidelights illuminated)

Having one fog light switch on when cornering might be deemed beneficial I suppose, but is it legal?

I have the active headlight option which is an excellent idea and I suppose the foglight switching on might be a similar idea? Does it actually switch off when the wheels straighten out?

Thanks Dieselman very much for answering my query,
Regards,
John

The foglight does switch back off when straightening up.

I suppose the facility must be legal but actually know of someone pulled up when this happened.

Thanks Dieselman,
I know that indicators 'turn on and off', but there is a legal maximum 'watt' limit. Like you I cannot imagine a car manufacturer actually installing something that is illegal.

Where is 'Plod' when you want him.

Thanks again,
John
