CLS Xenon Lighting flicker

I've just replaced the complete halogen light units with Xenons units from a scrap yard. The lights work fine when the engine isn't running, but they flicker badly and turn off when the engine is running. Any ideas???

Could be a loose earth which is only apparent when the engine is running.

The car needs to be told it now had xenons. Use STAR to code them in.
