Cls55 supercharger not working

My supercharger doesn't seem to be working, I think the clutch on the pulley isn't engaging, what would be the most likely reasons for this?
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be helpful.

I dont know,its worth a look I suppose, I thought it would be the clutch but after some more reading I've heard that could be a possible cause !

It seems so, I have another cls (500) and it's like driving that, I can hold the supercharger clutch still enen when the car is revved up.

IIRC the supercharger will not engage if the car is stationary

You can get an aftermarket clutchless (fixed) pulley, but the OE pulley is clutched on a 55k engine.

On mine I could hear the chirp as it engaged, followed by an increasing whine as the revs rose, aural delight ...... I miss my 55k engine....

Usually engages around 1800rpm depending on engine load, speed...

You can actuate the clutch with diagnostic equipment. See what happens when you do that?
