I suppose it’s slightly better than FULLY LOADED BRUV. When it’s FULLY LOADED you can usually expect the car to be missing half the options

Were read TV screens not avaiable as an option for the CLS, but only S and E class?

I was considering the shooting brake version of the CLS. But with the slopping rear roof I didn't want to compromise on the load space.
Shame they have discounted the model.

I'd be interested to know what the £7K "AMG Performance Tuning" pack included that was worth so much, since the LSD (main feature of the P30 option, you would think, but I know was not included in it in the W/S212) was invoiced separately.

I always laugh when you see cars advertised at a higher price because it has loads of extras. Try and get a better trade in deal because your car has plenty extras and watch the salesman suck all the air out of the atmosphere whilst shaking his head

From memory it’s: 557 PS power upgrade, carbon engine cover, red brake calipers, part alcantara steering wheel, and possibly an increase to the limited top speed.

I'd say it doesn't really make that much difference. We do lots of journeys fairly well loaded and I don't feel I lose a much if any space over the w211 that came before. I wouldn't automatically discount it for that reason.

On the CL you got an increase in the limited top speed, attendance at an AMG driving event, carbon fibre trim, 27hp increase in power, cf engine cover and AMG Performance steering wheel. Similar to what BD remembers for the CLS.

its probably a trick for the naive buyer "lots of extras, heated seats" on an s-class

Carbon fibre wing mirrors, deflectors on front bumper and rear apron.
