Comand 1 and 2.5 connections

Are the plugs and connectors on the back of the Comand NTG 1 fitted to earlier CLS 219s the same as the Comand NTG 2.5 on the facelift 219s?

I am thinking of swapping my 2.5 out for an Android system but they all seem to say up to model year 2008 which is when the pre-facelift stopped.

I don't want to buy one and find it won't connect.

No, they are very differently wired with power cables swopped, and speaker cables in different places. (You will blow a fuse and probably damage a unit)
