There are a lot of used COMAND units around that have been repaired and others which still have a CD reading fault.
How reliable are these units if I bought one how long can I expect it to last, can the CD drive be replaced like on a PC, how easy will it be to fix the thing?
Whats everyones experience with owning COMAND, would it be better to buy a TomTom Go or Navman and stick with the Audio10.

i think the cd mechanism *can* break but i never had a problem and i suppose it can be easily fixed...

you cant just swap the CD drives round tho.

i'd definatly go for Comand..... there is no real reason why comand would break quicker than any other device on the market. An OEM solution always looks better and you can connect TV, DVD up to it too :)

hear hear Sym...

the CD units can be repaired / replaced but its not cheap. I think Braybrooks can arrange repairs for most types of SAt Nav units including comand.
