While playing with a digital camera in the car (W221) I noticed a bank of bright lights just to the left of the nav screen.
They are invisible to the eye, so must be IR I would imagine.
They are directed towards the passenger seat, and are lit up even with the ignition off and the doors locked.
What are they for, and is it normal that they stay on all the time ?
