Command APS NTG4 question?

Hi

I have a W204 C200 CGI (Japan Spec Command APS NTG4) in my current ride. I see many NTG4 off ebay which are basically european.

1. Would you be able to install maps for Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand?

2. Can the iPod work as I have media interface installed in current system?

This Item is just for a repair of your Sat Nav...

1. Would you be able to install maps for Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand?

You should be able to Install those maps on your current Sat Nav, else you could change your Navi into ECE or US through the Secret Menu of NTG 4

2. Can the iPod work as I have media interface installed in current system?

Should work as usual

I am looking for retrofitting my Comand APS NTG4 on my C200 CGI (2010 model-japan specs)

As this system I have now cannot work on GPS/Radio/iPod even after changing to ECE mode, I have to fit a unit which can do all.

Please advise the spare part no. for my ride to do this retrofit...

It seems like you have a different Radio system than we do have here in Europe, did you have check out if any local Benz Forum would maybe have some people already tried or did this conversion? Let us know if you should find a solution. The other option is to check on a W212 NTG4 which would also be able to get to work in an W204 with minor fascia modification.

I tried local guys.. the price they quote is arm and leg

The iPod interface / media interface is already there with 3 MB cables for aus, ipod and usb

So you have iPod USB from factory and still you can't use them? What is your local Merc Dealer saying about iPod not working?

Local dealers are Cycle & Carriage.. totally hopeless !!! they have no idea for this
