I have my original 2000 Teleatlas CD for Comand [I bought the newer maps from Comand a couple of years ago] if that helps?

It has already been stated Teleatlas discs are not correct the correct discs for the OP's unit.

I am just acquiring a June 2008 C280 with Comand fitted. I know nothnig about Comand (or Satnav come to that !) but assume that it will come with whatever disks were originally supplied. What would I need to update to the latest UK version, how often are the disks updated and what should one be reckoning on paying for each update ?

My command (W210 Facelift) fails to read my navigation CD due to scratches.. Does anyone have an old working version of the navi CD from version 2006?

Try taking it to BlockBuster and getting them to clean it. Apparently works with scratched Sony Playstation DVDs.

I rescued a DVD that wouldn't play due to a nasty gouge by polishing it with toothpaste. Looked worse when I'd done it but it played fine.
