Newbie here - Audi fan for 15 years [Saab before that]
Clk W208 2002 2.3 Coupe bought 2 months ago -I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!!!
What a gorgeous car to drive....she is fab...Too many things that it excells at!
Anyway.Cooliing fan ball bearing race has disintegrated .Fan is perfect and quitet when running-Is it possible to get a replacement bearing [the one housed in the motor casing] and not chuck away a perfectly good motor?
Have done temp repair on it - and fault code gone from dash display.Bit noisy when turning car off otherwise OK.
Ido like to keep my cars in tip top condition but £244 quid from merc!!!! for a fan - OUCH!!!
