Could tyre pressures cause limp mode?

I bought a w218 350 cdi shooting brake a couple of weeks ago, love it!
However, it's been going into limp mode almost every day. It's been to mercedes who can't find any fault codes, engine management light isn't on either.
I've had a TPMS error a couple of times so checked tyre pressures. I finally got all tyres checked today and had a nail in the OSR.
So, could a different tyre pressure cause the car to go into limp mode!?

My first thought was 'no, unlikely'. However, now that the tyres are at the correct pressure, does it still go into limp mode?

I suppose it could be that if the system identifies a significant difference in rotational speeds of the wheels it might assume something is wrong with the driveline and cause limp mode. I'll be interested to see if the puncture repair fixes the problem.

Im going to take it out for a drive soon, will report back if it's cured the limp mode....
Bizarre if the car is that sensitive!

Tyre Pressure Loss warning uses the ABS sensors ( I think)... so Its not too much a stretch for it to invoke limp mode?

The full TPMS has sensors inside each wheel, but if it doesn't have full TPMS, it is indeed the ABS sensors that detect slight rotational speed differences. I can't see how it would trigger limp mode either, but if it doesn't happen once all the pressures are correct and stable, that might have been the cause.

Did the limp mode coincide with the tyre pressure loss warning on the dash?

Otherwise, I don't see how the two can be connected.

What I would do in the case of seemingly-random limp mode manifestations is update the software - primarily on the Engine ECU and the transmission TCU - but ideally on all of the car's systems.

Markjay suggestion is I think a good one, look at it like you have a problem with your laptop and you update the drivers or software, you have a fairly new car and there are no codes to point to why it is in limp mode,it is a weird thing to happen given that star should show the way to the fault.

Well, the tyre pressures are all the same and it's gone into limp mode again. No errors or warning lights.
Mercedes breakdown can't be ****d coming out tonight so they're sending a technician tomorrow morning.
Can't say I'm overly impressed with their breakdown service!

Hopefully MB will get the car tomorrow, so should know soon enough what the problem is.
2 weeks of ownership and I've been able to drive it for 4 days... not happy
