Crash in narrow lane

I called the police, the police didn't care, the insurance company said that people just driving off is very common, and that the police aren't really bothered.

I had witnesses galore, but because I had to go hunting for the missing camper I left them all behind.:wallbash:

Just a thought
just because you contacted the police and they dont wish to get involved - he doesnt know that

also
just because you have lost or would find it difficult to get witnesses - again he doesnt know that

how would it be if you contacted him said you had taken advice

that the police could get involved and you have witnesses

state the vehicle was too wide for the road , also he left the scene and his vehicle may be unroadworthy and his wife would be viewed in a poor light for her lack of honesty

would he be prepared to settle half of your ( large ) bill and you will not proceed with any of the above which would also be rather tricky for him if it went via insurance

might work might not but what is there to lose:dk:

ok i'll get back in my box now...

Living in Devon I drive narrow lanes an awful lot.

The only way to negotiate them is to slow down, end of!
