Engine management light came on. Had it checked and it came up engine misfire cylinders 1 & 2. Not sure if my warranty covers it. What should my next step be?

It's a w203, 2.6l, V6, auto.

Check the coil packs, and leads and the spark plugs.
Get it diagnosed by a garage and get them to put a claim in for you. That is how we do it.

Was informed it was possibly 'rubbish' fuel. Guy at work used the same supermarket fuel for his BMW and had the same problem....engine management light. Both of us have since put Shell V power in the tank and the problem has gone away! I've heard about this before with cheap fuel but thought is was an 'urban myth'. So despite 10p off a litre with your shopping I'll be using Shell from now on.
