Dash lights

Hi, ive noticed recently whilst driving at night that my dashboard lights have gone pretty dim compared to how bright they used to be, including the centre console lights.

Any reasons as to why this could be?

There is a little module built in to the back of the instrument cluster, I've had a few pack up , go dim, ect. I just bypass it with a 10 amp fuse.
