Does anyone know what the following codes relate too?

806 AEJ 05/1;05/M

882 Interior Safeguard

926 Exhaust Gas Cleaning with Euro 4 Technology

983 COC Paper Euro 4 Technology W/O Reg. Cert. Part II

The rest of the codes are self explanatary, the above ones are not.

Euro 4 is a european emmsion standard, which mainly effects company car drivers. At one point euro 4 engines had a 3 percent tax saving over euro 3, although Im sure thats been abolished now?

It means the engne meets euro 4 standards and i pressume that 983 is the required euro 4 certificate?

Cant help on anythng else though, sorry

BTW
Im trying to decipher my data sheet but the cars too new for the russain site. Where did you find the codes?

Not sure of 806 from memory, it relates to model's somehow but I'd need to check.

822 is the ultrasonics setup for the alarm.

The other 2 just relate to emissions and sound more complex than they actually are, they just mean it complies with the regs.

I thought that interior safeguard was something to do with the alarm also.

One of our esteemed members managed to print it out from the VIN number. A few members have access and are able to do this. I'm sure if you ask, and send your VIN by private message, someone will help you. I tried the Russian site too, does not work for 2005 cars.

Thanks, I had a fair idea about the Euro 4 ones, the ultrasonics is good to know. No idea at all what 806 is though.

806 possibly this:- change of model year [last figure shows new model year]

Changes in 2005 introduced new six-cylinder engines and two new diesels. Prior to that the only diesel CLK was the 5 cylinder 270.

No that AEJ is separate from the MY if you where to look at the datacard it would show Year Of Modification that is also 80X

They could both relate to the same thing but i have seen conflictions with those 2 codes, they normally relate to the combi.

With a laptop, what hardware/software is required to read error codes on an MB and where is the connection on the car

You might be better posting your question as a new thread, this one is about codes on the data card, not error codes.
