Daytime running lights query

Hi all. I got a 2016 cla200 shooting brake and I only noticed this last night, when I unlock the car, the daytime running lights/indicators go bright blue for about 2 seconds before the white blends back in.
I've never seen this before, has anyone got any ideas?

That’s supposed to happen. I think that only the higher spec models got this (could be wrong there).

This is normal - my E63S also does it.

It is a design feature, not a Halfords add on. Don’t be concerned if you try to re-test it straight away and you don’t see the blue lights. IIRC it doesn’t do it all of the time. I believe the ignition has to have been off for (?) minutes before it repeats the blue effect.

I had mine set at staying on for around 10 seconds, someone who has star can possibly change the time setting.
