S320CDI 2003 auto.
This only happens after the car has been driven, then stopped, occassionally.
Insert key, turn on, panel comes on, radio on, steering wheel moves to driving position, but no ignition.
Parking brake is on, waggling gear lever doesnt help, turn off / on doesnt help.
Remove key, try again, sometimes works immediately other times have to repeat half dozen times.
This is an intermittant problem, any clues?
