With certain exceptions for forum members, could it be a truism that if you can afford to buy a supercar then you'll be incapable of driving it? :D

It's the age old thing - This person can afford to have one / drive one, and I'm jealous. So when he destroys it, it pleases me!

Even I'll admit to fitting into that bracket haha

Another Russian rich boy breaking their toy. Oh well, an opprtunity to buy another.

The way I see it is that unless you have done lots of driving courses etc and training your driving is only as good as your experiences and training. i.e. not that good really. As most folk drive cars that have power outputs that are within their capablities of handling they are for the most part ok. Give a punter on the street a 500bhp sports car and they'd be the same as the russian bloke who smashed up his SLS.

He is just an average driver, like me. Betcha if I had an SLS I'd overcook it and then not have the skill to recover it.

But wouldn't you love to try it - and be rich enough not to care!!

True, but crashing a car can end nastily....

My mate was doing the exact same thing in an old e36 BMW 325i and flipped the car over twice with me in the car. We were very lucky, had something been coming towards us, and had the fence post come into the car 3 inches to the right, I'd be no longer with us.

Would be great if when sold a high performance car, you were invited to a free "How to handle a fast car" course or something like that.

Hard to see, but it does look like a lovely colour.
