Yeah that doesn't mean that all repairs can be done with glue pulls. Sometimes you have to push , especially on a rear panel which could be double skinned
That’s the whole point of pulling dents with glue. It can be useful in areas where it is restricted or not accessible will rods. But you have to measure the paint thickness before pulling, to ensure it’s original, otherwise you could end up having to re spray, which defeats the purpose.
...It’s a company car covered by a fleet management company using an accident management company going thru insurer and claims manager blah blah blah so I think the garage are maybe pushing it because it does also involve a temporary car to cover me
The only sensible course of action in my opinion is to follow the repair route offered by the lease provider.
You don't want the car lease company telling you at the end of the lease period that you had unapproved or substandard repairs done to the bodywork and then charge you for the 'damage'.
Ultimately, its their car, so have it repaired in whichever way they want you to.
That been said, had it been my own private car, I would have opted first for paintless dent repair, as others have said.
