Detached AMG Seat badge

The AMG seat badge on my CL55 has come loose and fallen off. I have tried to re-fit it, but with no success. Looking at the two "prongs" on the back face of the badge, it looks like there must be some kind of backing plate inside the seat to retain it.
Anybody have any idea if this is the case, or how to re-fit? - and does the backing plate stay in place when the badge becomes detached or does it just fall down inside the seat.

you will need to remove the back of the seat and find the backing of the badge and reapply.

Took the car to the local MB dealer (I'd just picked the car up from there after 3 weeks in their shop) - they quoted me £18.50 for a new badge and £430 plus VAT to fit.
After they picked me up! - I got hold of the Service manager and he agreed it was crazy. Anyway the long and the short is that if I buy the badge, they will fit for free. - Not a bad result!!

Any time i need a laugh, i phone MB service for a quote to carry out works my indy does........i get a hoot every time.

I phoned up for some grease for my pano roof and was told it is £57.00 + VAT....you need a good sense of humour for these cars...of an even better bank balance.
