Can/will my local Mercedes dealer give me a printout of generated fault codes and the date they occurred? I have a new car with several issues and I want to see if there were any faults present before I took delivery. My local dealer didn't supply the car.

I dont think even a dealer can put a date on the faults, it just says there is a fault and a code!

I think there is a log against mileage?

They can get the history from the car indeed. It's got a mileage in kilometres next next to each entry. I had a print out from a mate the other day who got it from Star.... may nor may not be illegitimate version I have to say.
