Anybody waxed/protected a diamond white Mercedes? If so could you let me know what you used or recommend

Thanks

My personal favourite for white and silver cars is Dodo juice light fantastic.

As a glaze, I use Poorboys White Diamond on my white Lexus, it's easy to apply in shade or sunshine.

I had mine done with G Techniq (can't remember exactly what products) and it comes up sparkling each time I wash it. Saying that, I have only washed it half a dozen times since March and covered about 9k miles.

Tar etc still sticks but it comes off fairly easily. The usual black streaks on the white paintwork take a bit more shifting but if it was washed a bit more regularly these wouldn't get a chance to develop.

Whatever the guy put on the wheels (wheel armour or something by G Tech) is absolutely amazing, a good pressure wash with karcher and a wipe with a damp cloth and they are sparkling.

I thought it was expensive at the time but 6 months on I would recommend it to anybody. I haven't had to use anything more than the 8 quid bottle of shampoo and a lambswool mit on the bodywork. I was warned to be careful with what 'product' I used for washing so a not to damage/strip the coating.

No doubt there are plenty equivalents out there but from personal experience I would absolutely spend the money again.

Thanks. I am so impatient with the delivery date. I only ordered on Saturday and it's being delivered this week! They said Friday so fingers crossed. I'll surprise them and won't call the dealer tomorrow

Congrats on the purchase,

I also own diamond white, Fantastic color. Im opting for a nano kind of coating so not a wax (Last longer apparently)

I have used dodo juice diamond white or something it worked well, A small panel pot would cover the car nicely.

G Techniq is one of the best products out there at the moment, but it can be a cow to apply, especially on dark metallic paint colours, thats why most Detailers charge a premium, plus if they do it right they will need it for 2 days, as the first coat needs to be left for 12 hrs at least to cure.
If you are competent and want to do it yourself, then the Carlack Twins are 2 good products, they are nano based synthetic waxes. The first is a paint cleanser and really a base for the following top coat gloss application. You will get a good 3 to 4 months protection before needing to re-apply another coat.
All available from Cleanyourcar in Huddersfield - speak to Tim for info, he will help you out.

Another vote here for the carlack twins. Been using them for years. Simple to apply and good protection.

nice car, nice colour too :)

My car is white and I have done a full detail which includes.

Snow foam
Clay bar whole car
Da whole car
So far just one coat of crystal rock(2 more to be applied tomorrow)

The shine is massive esp for a white car in the dull weather.

Then I top up with gtechnic quick detail which I have now just bought there liquid crystal spray instead. You can spray this on your wet car just before towelling dry. Then add another coat once dry as normal.
